Subscription Program
Jetro Platforms Subscription
Jetro
Platforms provides upgrades to all of
its products on a subscription basis.
The subscription for the first year
of service is included in the purchase
price at no additional cost.
After the first year, subscriptions
are available on a per license fee basis.
Adding
Licenses to Your Subscription
All
upgrade subscriptions are valid for
one-year intervals. New licenses can
be added to a current subscription at
any point in the year, and will expire
at the same time as the original package.
Licenses that are added in the midst
of a subscription year will entitle
the customer to a prorated discount
on the renewal fee for the next year’s
subscription plan.
For example, consider
a company that initially purchases 1,000
COCKPIT™ licenses on March 15,
2004. Three months later the company
expands operations and purchases an
additional 300 licenses. After another
five months (eight months from the original
purchase), the company purchases an
additional 400 licenses. This customer
will have an upgrade subscription valid
for 1,700 licenses that will expire
on March 15, 2005. For the renewal contract,
the company will be entitled to a discount
of 25% for 300 licenses and a 67% discount
for 400 licenses. The subscription credit
is detailed in Table 1 below.

Subscription Renewals
Upgrade
subscriptions are available for renewal
each year at the expiration date of
the current subscription plan. The renewal
fee for subscriptions is due on the
expiration date. After the expiration
date and within a three-month period,
a renewal surcharge of an additional
15% of the subscription fee will be
applicable and the expiration date for
the coming year will remain the same.
If the three-month period passes without
payment, then the subscription will
be canceled. A new plan can then be
purchased at any time prior to the one-year
anniversary of the cancellation at the
standard rate plus a 100 percent renewal
surcharge fee.
