Dear partners of RDT Jetro,
Six months into the year, we feel this is a good time to reflect on the first half of 2009 and thank you for making it so successful. After concluding an eventful 2008, including our acquisition by the RDT Group and the launch of several new solutions (ie COCKPIT2i and COCKPIT On Key ) Jetro |
was fully ready to take on the challenges of 2009 and 2010.
During the first half of the year we introduced to the market a new set of feature-rich solutions. The COCKPIT4 version is now ready for the market, containing much more functionality then originally planned. COCKPIT4 was redesigned with a vision to become the ultimate infrastructure for Cloud Computing deployments for both Enterprise and SAAS/ASP providers and is already in trials with select customers. Additionally, our innovative stand-alone Server-based printing solution is now in production with a handful of customers and will be made publicly available shortly.
The new version 4 includes both COCKPIT for SBC and COCKPIT2i for secure web browsing as well as our new printing solution. These solutions are all combined under a single integrated product and management console. You will be happy to know that version 4 will be delivered for the same low price as its predecessor. COCKPIT4 will be available to all subscription paying customers for no additional fee. I invite you to read more about these advanced solutions in this newsletter.
Though we have invested many efforts in the design of COCKPT4 and our novel printing solution, we are continuing to support version 3 as well. Throughout the year we have released a number of updates to version 3.8. At the end of July 2009, we plan to release version 3.9, which includes add-ons, enhancements and additional updates to the previous version 3.8.2. Version 3.9 will support a number of new features including: improved support for wide-screens, Explorer 8 support, and automatic reconnect for client and CUC sessions. In addition the solution will provide enhanced support for smart cards and biometric user ID applications. We will provide more details at a later date.
In H1 of 2009 we have expanded our global footprint and added three new country managers for Spain, France and Russia. This expansion follows our recent agreements with local representatives in the US, Italy, and German-speaking countries announced during the second half of 2008.
