JKB00319 Changing the Domain that CockpIT is connected to


General:

Change CockpIT domain in the Server Settings window in the Administrator Site.

Methods:

1. Logon to the CockpIT Administrator Site

2. Click on the Server Settings tab in the main window.

3. Choose the correct directory service type.

4. Type in the name a domain name in the text box or choose a domain from the drop down menu.

5. Connect the server running CockpIT to the new domain.

6. Change Services logon account name.

CockpIT includes three services that require a special username in order to operate: JDS, JTSmonitor and JDSNetExplorer. Make sure that the username for this account has administrator level permission in the required domain and on the local server.

Note: Changes to CockpIT's domain settings will appear in the following registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Jetro\JDS
