  • Letter from RDT-Jetro CEO

  • Dear colleagues,

    Giora ShakedAs the first quarter of 2010 draws to an end, I wish to take a minute of your time to reflect on some of our recent accomplishments. We have concluded 2009 with an impressive increase in sales of COCKPIT. This achievement was fueled by a continued positive trend in existing markets and through successful penetration into new territories.

  • RDT Jetro is operating in a growth market. All across the world the need for Virtualization Management and Application Publishing solutions is on the rise and the business potential for our advanced products is therefore one of the strongest in the IT industry.

  • Our achievements were not overlooked by the market. A recent report by IDC, one of the world’s leading market research groups, provided positive coverage of RDT Jetro, calling it “a company to watch”.
  • The report which was release last month goes on to say: “while many companies provide similar capabilities to those provided by Jetro, the company’s strength is in combining these functionalities in a single, integrated offering”… IDC also added: “… By supporting VDI technologies, and adding Microsoft Terminal Server 2008 and RDP7 to COCKPIT, Jetro is in an improved position to compete with Citrix in the high-end market” (IDC Report, Feb 2010)

  • As enterprises expand their Virtualization infrastructure needs, combining local PCs, SBC and VDI solutions, we are working hard to ensure that this and future combined infrastructure can centrally be managed by Jetro COCKPIT.
  • During the last two quarters we have taken a number of steps to further strengthen our capabilities and enhanced our solutions offering. Here are some of our recent highlights:

    •  
      • Strengthened our management team by adding two new senior members: Warren Stein, VP of International Sales, and Guy Ziv, VP of Product marketing and supercharged our R&D team with additional brain power.

      • Jetro assigned new regional managers in Russia, France, Italy and Spain and have recently partnered with 7 new distributors worldwide.

      • COCKPIT v4.1 was released, complete and integrated with both Secure Application Publishing and Secure Web Browsing capabilities, presenting the worlds most Secured virtualization Management Suite, protected by a Registered Patent.

      • Our growing support and cooperation of Microsoft's Terminal Server as well as VMware’s VDI products enhances our complete SBC offering. Combined with a unified management solution, this capability allows customers to enjoy the best of both virtualization worlds, while conserving investments in existing infrastructure

      • Our COCKPIT4i solution for Secure Web Browsing became the standard at the most secured customers, including, the German Police Force, The Bank of Israel, Orange Telecom, Visa Credit Cards and many others – all of whom focused on subscribing to stringent regulations with no negative impact to the productivity of the organizations

        The release of MTS 2008 R2 and RDP 7 further strengthens our position as an ideal alternative to Citrix for tier one customers as well as SMBs.


    • We are having a three-day international training camp this week for our distributors from the APAC, EMEA and South American regions. This important event will bring together IT professionals from 15 countries and will focus on getting them more familiar with the features and benefits of latest versions of COCKPIT. I wish to thank all of you who are involved in the preparation of this meeting.
    • To sum up – we are poised to tackle 2010 and beyond with market ready solutions. A focused and qualified set of Value added partners across the Globe and our own RDT Jetro management team are executing a go-to-market strategy, focusing on the merits of our solutions - coupled with a clear vision of being a significant player in the virtualization space.
    • We have a huge opportunity to exploit our competitors who are losing their focus on SBC, spreading their efforts across many directions. We at Jetro however, manage to surpass our rivals by taking advantage of our unmatched innovation, and providing more return on customer investment.
